Creating a place where nature and people, urban and local areas can meet
Communities in the Miyagase Dam vicinity have formulated the "Lake Miyagase Charter"in the hope that the facility will be fully utilized to revitalize water resources in the area and become a major visitor attraction. Based on this charter, local municipalities are working with the Kanagawa prefectural government to enhance the environment of Miyagase Dam. In order to conserve the lakefront area as much as possible, three areas have been singled out for improvement as foundations for local promotion.
