Miyagase Dam Disaster Prevention Information
-
If the siren sounds, move away from the river.
In cases where water level is expected to rise in the downstream due to discharge from Miyagase Dam, advance notice will be given through sirens and broadcasts.
Even if it has stopped raining near your home, torrential rain caused by typhoon and so on in the upper reaches may cause water to be discharged from the dam.
If the siren sounds, people close to the river are asked to immediately move away.
The siren will sound regardless of day or night to ensure the safety of people close to the river. Thank you for your understanding.
You can hear the siren at the following link. (There are 2 types of siren sound)
