Introducing Facilities Inside the Dam

The concrete of Miyagase Dam contains a maze-like network of monitoring corridors that are connected to the gate operation room, measurement room, etc. Plumb line and high-precision seismographs for investigating dam strain caused by water pressure and so on are also installed, and these are used by operators to conduct patrols and check for any abnormalities.
