This prefectural park is located immediately downstream from Miyagase Dam.
Spreading over an extensive area of 51 hectares, it features the "Hana-no-shamen" - a hillside of flowers where 44,000 rhododendrons of 40 varieties blossom in full glory in spring; an adventure forest equipped with large play apparatus where children can play all day long; a bouncy dome and more.
Also, a road train, affectionately called "Aichan", runs between the park and Miyagase Dam.Arts and Crafts Village, Snack Corner
Hands-on paper making and pottery classes
You can casually experience at low cost the traditional local crafts of Aikawa Town, such as indigo dyeing, weaving, papermaking, pottery, and wood and bamboo crafts. There is also a snack corner where you can eat udon and soba noodles, curry and so on.
