    Concerning Entry to the Lakeside

Lake Miyagase is an artificial lake that was formed in a valley of Nakatsugawa River previously known as Miyagase Gorge.
The present lake, which reaches a depth of 130m, was formed by damming Nakatsugawa River and utilizing the natural terrain. The resulting lakeside comprises steep slopes that can be extremely dangerous.
For this reason, gates, etc. have been installed to prevent entry to parts alongside Lake Miyagase.
