| Preparations for Minimizing Damage from Earthquakes. |

| Based on assumptions regarding damage in the case of a Metropolis Direct Hit Earthquake, we are promoting the development of“main wide-area disaster prevention bases”. In order to secure emergency transport routes during an earthquake disaster, we are implementing the seismic retrofitting of buildings along roads and reinforcing the earthquake resistance of bridges. We are also promoting the seismic retrofitting of quays to secure maritime transportation routes. |
